As mom’s there is barely any time to cook a homemade meal every night or find a quiet moment to yourself, let alone enough time to start and finish a book, right? Well maybe not. Whether you are busy running the kids to games and dance classes or rushing to work in the morning there is just a little time to take your mind off everything.

If you are a mom who always is driving then audiobooks are perfect for you! Amazon’s Audible has free trials and offers tons of books to listen to at your own pace. If you are a mom who has some time waiting at practices then ebooks are perfect for you, no need to worry about dragging and bending a book everywhere when it's at the ready on your phone, iPad, or Kindle!

If you’ve never read a Stephen King novel this is the perfect trilogy to start with! The suspense and thrill of this crime novel will keep you flipping the pages at an alarming rate. The story follows a serial killer and a retired cop’s quest for acclimating to normal life while being hounded by a killer. This is a great series to start when you know you will have some free time waiting for the kiddos or have some free time at work!

8. My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite

I know, I know another serial killer book? But hear me out, the book is about a dynamic sister duo, one sister does the killing and the other cleans up the mess. It will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. The chapters are quick and easy to read before you know it the book lays out the mastermind’s plan without overloading you with gory details at the beginning. This is a for-sure book club winner!
